Katie Loversidge
Designer
Katie has been with Schooley Caldwell in various roles for over 10 years – in high school as part-time intern, and on summer breaks as an undergraduate – before joining us full time for 4 years. She recently earned her Master of Architecture degree from THE Ohio State University in 2023 and is happy to be reunited with her Schooley family once again.
She is grateful to have the finest mentor by her side – her father Bob Loversidge – who recently stepped down from his role as President/CEO of Schooley after 40+ years. Katie is passionate about continuing the legacy her father worked to establish, is proud to help shape the future of the firm, and is eager to work towards more of a leadership role in the future.
She has experience doing historic building assessments, building code analyses, and developing neighborhood design guidelines, and she is eager to take on additional interior design and BIM coordination work. Katie loves shuffling through historic drawing sets and thrives on being out in the field. When working with her on a project, one can expect meticulously organized to-do lists, markups, and color-coded everything.
Outside of work, Katie loves thrifting, trying to life-hack her life, watching bad reality tv, and spending time with her musician fiancé and their two rambunctious cats.
Her approach to practice is that the more questions you ask, the more you grow - and you should never run out of questions.
