Daniel Ferdelman

Associate | Project Architect

Daniel has a diverse array of experience, having worked for public, private, and non-profit entities as an architect, planner, and/or urban designer. From visioning to completion, he brings a holistic perspective to every project. As an Architect, he has been involved with a diverse range of building types, including higher education, office, community, residential, and restaurants. He’s recently worked on the $14 million renovation of a Belvedere, California residence, the Whitehall YMCA addition and renovation, Lupo Restaurant renovation in Upper Arlington, and the renovation and addition to his own home in Bexley. As a Planner he has assisted in writing neighborhood plans, revising guidelines and codes, and guiding applicants through complex approval processes. As an Urban Designer, he’s created land development concepts to guide the future transformation of areas throughout Columbus. This well-rounded knowledge of architecture and of the development process is reinforced by Daniel’s experience leading, sitting on, advocating before, and presenting at community planning boards.

He earned a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Ohio and Certified Planner (AICP).

Outside of the office, Daniel can be found walking or being walked by his three dogs (two Great Pyrenees and a Brittney Spaniel), biking in one of six cycling clubs he rides with throughout the region (BP, GCC, SCC, WCC, COP, or TCC), or enjoying quality time with his wife and two daughters.
