Jake Henderson

With over eight years of work experience in the public and private sectors with city planning agencies and architectural firms, Jake brings a multi-disciplinary approach to project development. He believes that the key to creating quality architecture is through collaboration at every project phase coupled with thoughtful attention to the details.

After receiving his Bachelors of Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati and working for several years, Jake decided to pursue his passion for designing buildings and get a Master of Architecture from the Ohio State University. While at OSU, Jake won 1st place in the 2021 International Masonry Institute Competition for a museum designed on Ohio State's campus. His master’s thesis focused on developing a multi-family housing typology for the City of New Orleans; addressing the need for affordable housing that is resilient to flooding and energy efficient by utilizing passive cooling strategies. Jake is currently pursuing the path to architecture licensure.

Jake and his wife, Mori, have three dogs at home that soak up most of their free time and attention. In whatever time is leftover, they love to go hiking, camp, and kayak along the many waterways that run throughout Ohio.
