Position Overview
Schooley Caldwell is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Coordinator who, working with the firm’s leadership, wants to take ownership of marketing strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate possesses compelling writing, graphic design, and creative thinking skills. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Principals and senior staff to position the firm in the marketplace. This important role involves tracking opportunities, creating persuasive proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, and maintaining systems and tools to win work. The position offers career growth in the marketing role.
Your Role
Monitor websites and publications for pursuit opportunities
Track, strategize, and produce requests for proposals, statements of qualifications, and other business development pursuit material
Create, maintain, and archive marketing materials, including resumes, project sheets, and other promotional materials
Create graphics and layouts for proposals, qualifications packages, resumes, interviews, presentations, design awards, collateral, stationary, and other digital and print promotional materials
Strategize with the project team to produce interview presentations and often coaching the team during prep sessions
Implement best practices of quality management for all internal and external communications, including proposals
Coordinate with staff to collect project data and photos
Assist with maintaining the firm’s CRM
Schedule and coordinate professional photography
Create website content and post; track metrics
Create and maintain a social media presence; track metrics
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
Understand the pursuit process and be able to see marketing efforts through the eyes of the owner
Bachelor’s Degree
High level of proficiency with InDesign
Proficient with Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
Understanding of graphic design concepts
Understanding of social media strategy and SEO
Understanding of CRM basic concepts
Positive, collaborative attitude, with the ability to work well with individuals at all levels
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative
